GIVING FROM THE HEART
December 16, 2019 - Monday - at noon
Christmas is a time for giving and love -- but sometimes it becomes the most stressful time of the year. Why does this happen?
One of the first principles of Nonviolent Communication is that life is always enriched when we can give from the heart. That heart-felt connection makes a difference. So why does it seem like such a "chore" to "do" Christmas? This Christmas season, take the time to learn about what our heart needs in order to give freely and willingly. When we understand those needs, we will feel true peace, confidence, and love, and be able to give the best gift of all - our presence, attention and love.
Janet Summit is the mother of 11 children, an author, educator, and craniosacral therapist. She has studied emotions and communication skills intensively for the last 22 years. Emotions literally drive everything we do, and they matter.
We can feel peace in any circumstance.
